Enhancing Love with Positive Character

Enhancing love with positive character is a boost up for any marriage.  Have you ever wondered about the factors that give the perfect essence to married life? However, many factors are necessary for a healthy marriage. But love and respect are two main ingredients for a successful life. Even 1 Corinthians 13 is known as the great “love chapter” in the Bible. Couples follow this chapter closely and do well to memorize it and live according to God’s instructions. Enhancing love is a life long work.

So if you want your marriage to be secured by a healthy relationship, both spouses should have the following positive qualities:

Enhancing Love

Enhancing Love with Positive Character

Forgiveness:

You both know the art of forgiveness. It doesn’t matter who is in the wrong, forgive each other and move on.

Patience:

You cannot forgive your partner without developing patience in you.

Kindness:

If you both show compassion to each other, this will help you to develop a deep love.

Love of truth:

Love your spouse unconditionally, regardless of their faults. Just try to cover your partner in every situation.

Loyalty at any cost:

If you want pure love from your partner, never try to cheat him, because once a cheater, always is a cheater.  That will be the perception.

Faith and trust in a partner:

Marriage will move to the next level if both partners have faith in each other.

The above are the positive factors that will play the role of a brick to develop a successful marriage. But some negative aspects need to be highlighted, as any of the below factors will erase all the positives. Both partners would not be able to thrive in a healthy marriage.

Jealousy:

Try to enjoy your partner’s success instead of getting jealous.  Where there is jealousy, love cannot thrive.

Envy:

The spark of envy can burn the whole relationship. Stay away from this feeling.  Just praise him and enjoy his success.

Selfishness:

Selfish people can never grow or make anyone grow. For a successful marriage, you should put your desires aside and support your partner regardless of losses and gains.

Irritability:

Getting angry even at minor problems can never contribute to a healthy married life as the couple will not trust each other’s thinking.

Holding grudges:

The heart must be pure to have a clean and satisfying marriage. Say whatever is in your heart without hurting your partner’s feelings, but do not hold grudges.

Disrespect:

No relationship can grow without respect. So if you disrespect your partner in front of others, he will never trust you, and both of you will never share the bond of love.

So you see, by following a couple of things, both partners can live a healthy and prosperous life.  It comes down to the oneness that was joined. Unconditional love is the way to go.
