We have always been in a place of the unknown. However, we take steps for things to happen as we want to see them happen.

What If’s

It involves our marriages, our children, our jobs and careers, just life in general.   It’s a walk of faith that everything is going to work out.  Although there lies skepticism of, “what if.”

  • Some go into their marriages with a what if. Giving the mindset of, if it does not work out, just move on. Plan B starts to happen before plan A get’s started.
  • We’ve come to a place of the unknown with a different view of things now. Everyone is taking things one day at a time.  It’s as though the Word is reminding us to take no thought for tomorrow, because todays issues are all you can really handle.

The Order is Key

  • Since God gave the order of man and woman to be joined as one and let no man separate that, maybe it’s time to take a really close look at what is going on the head of the family. The known journey, right from the beginning is the order of Christ, the husband, the mother and then the children.  A design to always keep him first.  We don’t always get it right. But I do know, He will meet us just where we are.  You may know the song, “He look beyond my faults and saw my need” That truly is His amazing grace.
  • Christ is first, leading us through the unknown. Putting us in a place to trust and have faith.  Trusting that the unforeseen journey is going to work out in your favor and God will get the glory for it all.  It is a perfectly designed plan. We must have enough faith to trust the plan, trust the process.

Reacquaintance May Be Necessary

  • So, during this time of the unknown, know that as you get reacquainted with your spouse and call on the Lord for direction, your marriage is destined for a peaceful journey.
  • Putting life in order will be a trickling down effect to show your children  when things are in its proper order, it will turn out okay no matter what the chaos looks like at the start.
  • As your unknown journey continues, let the unpleasant memories of your marriage go. It is a time to forgive and move on.  We only have today!

Philippians 3:13-14 NASB tells us “Brethren, I do not count myself to have [b]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

  • Establish a home of prayer. Pray for your spouse, pray for your marriage.
  • Until next time, stay home, be save and be well!

Take time to nourish your marriage!
